Elaine Olson Danley was raised in Southern California. She took high school art classes at Citrus Union in Glendora, and afterward was in the “Craft Circuit” for forty years. She is blessed with many abilities in the area of home arts: sewing and tailoring, crochet, quilting, and doll-making, to name a few. As she says, “You name it, and I’ve had fun doing it.” She also has fun showing other people how to do it.

At 81 she doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. A heart bypass operation several years ago only served to energize her. She always seems to have something in her hands on which to work, like some sewing, crocheting, or embroidery. She says she “loves life, and loves to play.” And for the kind of play she does, she feels it is nice to have an artistic background. She has recently resumed painting and sketching.

She is married to Marvin Danley. They have been blessed with 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and (so far) 6 great-grandchildren.
