Jan is a firm believer in art education and is
herself a continuing student. She is also an enthusiastic and
accomplished instructor, and has given art demonstrations at
In Jan’s words, “I
love watercolors. I love the way the colors mix on the painting surface
creating their own forms and colors. If I can keep a freedom of movement
in my brush strokes, the flow of paint gives me a new interpretation of
the object painted.”
Jan is a member of the Moapa Valley Art Guild, Virgin Valley Artists Association, and Southern Utah Watercolor Society.
